Pneuma is the collaborative project-name of Italian visual artist and writer Francesca Ricci and Uruguayan musician and artist Gaston Gorga.

Francesca works in a variety of media, from drawing and painting to video, to collaborative experimental work involving visuals, text and sound. Gaston’s music influences are varied, including references to traditional milonga from his homeland, post punk, experimental, ambient and chanson.

Pneuma have performed live in London at Properganda at TheOthers and Bohemia Hackney. Their short experimental film Barattolo di Sale/Salt Jar, part of Pneuma’s signature piece by the same name, has been selected for competition and screened in several international film festivals.
